.223 Texas Deer Is It Legal In Texas To Shoot A Deer With A .223/5.56 Bullet?

Is it legal in texas to shoot a deer with a .223/5.56 bullet? - .223 texas deer

I want to know only the laws, I really am a good enough shooter to the heart-fire. I can not, ethically speaking, put a second shot if needed. the reason in doing because I try to kind of AR-10/AR-15/M16 gun and 5.56 is the only one in my household.

Yes, drums, and therefore really after a ball mini-14 was my last season, because the scope is triggered on my 270 and my mini is my backup gun

Here are the relevant information directly from the website of the Department of Wildlife Department:

Animals and game birds may be hunted with the legislation of firearms except:

* White-tailed deer are deer, desert bighorn sheep, antelope hunting, and with ammunition to cancel any size

Basically, it allows the fire "central" ammunition to use and contains the 5.56 cal /, 223
